Calad Shirt Crochet Along Kit CAL September 2023

We have selected the Calad Shirt for the upcoming Crochet Along beginning on September 8th 2023 and continuing every Friday until everyone is finished. 

Advanced Beginner

This collared button-front shirt (designed by Jessica Tsung) has a boxy, cropped silhouette and contrasting stripes of simple lace to really add that special touch.  Don’t be scared off by the cropped design, as Jessica includes clear instructions on adding length as well as detailed measurements for each size. This project will require seaming, blocking, and sewing on buttons, all of which we are happy to help walk you through as we go. 

The yarn we have chosen for this CAL is Meadow by The Fibre Co., a gorgeous heavy lace weight blend of 40% wool, 25% llama, 20% silk, and 15% linen. The pattern calls for two colors, but you could work a solid color shirt as well if you prefer. 

Suggested hook size  D 3.00mm

XS 27"-29"                    2 skeins of 1 color/ 1 skein of 1 color =3 total skeins  

Small 31"-33"               2 skeins of 1 color/ 1 skein of 1 color = 3 total skeins
